Leaving Hong Kong? Have friends leaving? Or just want a beautiful photographic print to remember this spectacular city by – then consider checking out my growing collection of Hong Kong prints. Most of these images comprise 18-26 images stitched together resulting in extraordinary high resolution which allows for very large prints to be made while retaining incredible detail. Because the native resolution is so high, many don’t translate that well when shrunk down to small jpgs for web viewing, resulting in a “crunchy” look. Please don’t be put off by this as the original, full-sized tiff images (from which the prints are made) are of fantastic quality.
I can print in a variety of sizes although my recommendation would be to go big rather than small. Typically, I can print up to a maximum of 60 inches on the longest side. I use a very high quality, matte, archival paper with a white border and trim as shown in the images. The prints are rolled with protective paper and bubble-wrap and then packed into a cylindrical, cardboard drum so that they can be shipped easily.
It’s best to work with me on recommended sizes and pricing for each individual print but typically a 60-inch print will cost around HK$4,990 (US$650). Prices will be cheaper for smaller-sized prints.
